I just got the game a few days ago, and I'm already addicted. The stories, the graphics, the blood. Hohohohohoho so much blood...
Woah, little distracted there. Anywho! Who else has Dragon Age or plans to get it in the future? Any tips for a Elf Magi?

I kid, Dragon Age : Origins is a pretty nice game, I would get it, but unfortunately I got a lot of games to finish first. But fortunately since I'm such a nice chap, I will give you the best tip ever. How to get free exp.
Unless they've already patched this up.
Excellent cheap trick, especially if you play for the achievements. Like moi.

I got the game mostly for my dad. I'm not into most American RPGs. Making your own character is fun, but it takes away from you getting attached to a character that someone else made. While you have the options to make your character who you want, most JRPGs will have a pre-made character that you take from Point A to Point B. But the character build up is what gets me.
Back on topic, I have a Human Magi who is currently in search of his former friend from the Circle. I gotta say I like my Space Opera of Mass Effect better, but Dragon Age is fine.

Magicians FTW.
Also, I completely understand where you're coming from, however even if I do make my own character I end up just seeing that character as "Me" and therefore do not get attatched. Then I go around making made-up BFF relationships with other characters. Like Alistar. I love him. He's epicness. XD
